July 24, 2017 - We have just heard from the Participaction Canada 150 Playlist. Some of the demonstrations they'll be offering while they're here are cricket, kayaking and surfing! Make sure you stop by their booth.
July 18, 2017 - Our summer student Hailey has just finalized the Emergency Plan for the festival and as part of our effort to keep everyone safe, we encourage you to install a weather app on your smartphone so that you can receive weather alerts. If you don't already have one, please get one so that while you're out enjoying the festival, if severe weather begins to develop, you will have time to find shelter.
June 21, 2017 - We're pleased to announce that Philipp Ens will be our Grand Parade Marshal. Mr. Ens is one of the founders of Triple E Canada and has been a leader in the community for many years. He will also be inducted into the Order of Manitoba on July 13 and then will join us to lead our parade on August 11, 10am.
May 29, 2017 - We continue to release pieces of the schedule as things fall into place. The latest news is that Safari Jeff will at the festival. He travels the world learning about creatures, then shares live animals and information during his shows. He'll be part of the festival all three days.
April 18, 2017 - The Canada 150 Playlist is coming to the festival! Participaction has chosen WInkler to be one of the sites on their tour across the country. Make sure you search out their trailer for a chance to win prizes and maybe even try some neat new activities. We'll also be offering cricket demonstrations in anticipation of our new cricket pitch being built this summer.
March 8, 2017 - We have announced the headline acts for this year's festival! They include Aerosmith Rocks tribute band, Gord Bamford, The Hunter Brothers and Hawk Nelson.
