Entries have now closed for the 2018 Harvest Festival parade. If you did enter the parade, you should receive an email with marshaling information, on or before Aug 7. If you did not enter the parade, you are still welcome to participate. On the Saturday morning, go to the Winkler MB Church between 9:30 and 9:45am and you will be added to the back of the parade. Thank you.
The Harvest Festival parade begins at 10am on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
Terms and Conditions of Participating in our Parade:
IF YOU PLAN ON DISTRIBUTING PROMOTIONAL ITEMS, YOU MUST HAVE PEOPLE BRINGING THEM DIRECTLY TO THE AUDIENCE MEMBERS. ABSOLUTELY NO THROWING OF ANYTHING DURING THE PARADE. NO BRAKE-STANDS, REVVING OF ENGINES OR ANY OTHER LOUD OR UNNECESSARY NOISES. ANY ONE FOUND TO BE BREAKING THESE RULES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY EJECTED FROM THE PARADE
If you have a large group of people as part of your parade entry, you MUST make plans to meet at a site AWAY from the marshaling area then proceed to marshaling together. There are not enough parking spaces at our marshaling site to act as a staging area.
We communicate only via email. You will receive marshalling information in early August about five days before the parade day (August 11, 10am)
